At the end of 2025, I was inspired to build my own small scale lighting rig. As of May 2026, this consists of 10 LED coloring changing Chauvet SlimPARS (varying models), two stands and a truss frame; all controlled through DMX from my laptop via an ART-NET to DMX node.
The design of this rig is tailored for smaller events like backyard parties, weddings, or the small stages you find at small town festivals for local bands and performers.
All my fixtures can either be hung on my stands and truss, or can be positioned on the ground.

Aside from my lighting rig, I also have access to a basic sound system through a family member’s personal business; speakers, a mixer, and a couple microphones – with the possibility of a little more equipment.
